According to the Managing Director of IMAS, the service is stopped paying for breach of contract with the company Cruz Verde.

According to Matthew, the obligation of the IMAS, is to restore service as quickly as possible, and hence has tried to solve the problem by all means, tried even to pay directly to workers, the current situation is that the company entered bankruptcy last December 9 and therefore was not legally possible the procedure, we have tried to hire another company once terminated the contract with Green Cross, but has not found any company that would take over the service because Spanish law requires you to subrogate with a series of debts owed to Green Cross workers and Social Security, so there has been forced to interrupt service.

The IMAS has contacted the Mayor of Jumilla who, according to Fernando Mateo, immediately put the ad municipal resources available to the IMAS, to then proceed to the signing of an agreement by which the IMAS can use the facilities of the Day Centre , located in Cruz de Piedra Street, provisionally until it can take a quiz after you have solved the problem with Green Cross, since right now is unworkable and would desert as demonstrated in the centers of El Palmar and Espinardo, argued Mr. Mateo.

The agreement between City Hall and IMAS can so that by the end of January and users are benefiting from the service and now can not.

The Mayor of Jumilla, reiterated that the agreement is provisional, and that the idea is that at the time that the IMAS can reopen the Centre to release the seats in the municipal building, since the idea is that once the circumstances return to normal Day Center City do not stop to render their services so that the squares of the 20 that would have the IMAS to 40 by adding the two centers.

The Municipal Council will take over who meet all of the services, as reflected in the agreement to be signed in a few dates, while the IMAS pay what cooresponda by squares.

The intention of the government team, stated the Mayor, the intention is to implement the Municipal Day Care Center, which was not properly equipped to solve missing and administrative issues.

Subsequently seek the suitability for each site, thus being able to expand services so that the City Centre, is aimed at accommodating people with Alzheimer's or other dementias.

After the meeting with the Mayor and the Councillor for Social Services, have held a meeting with the families of the Day Centre users to inform them of this proposed solution as well as the details of it.
