More than 2,000 schoolchildren in Jumilla be trained in road safety center (26/04/2011)

Throughout the entire course of more than 2,000 school children receive basic training in Jumilla Security Center Road situated in the hamlet of La Estacada, as confirmed by the council Public Safety and Traffic Primitivo Gonzalez.

Thus begins training sessions with the participation of all children in elementary and primary schools different.

Last April the school's students attended Santa Ana and in May will do the various courses of the San Francisco schools, Mariano Suarez, Santa Ana, Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion, Miguel Hernandez, Prince Felipe, Carmen Conde, Cruz de Piedra and Special Education Center Virgen de la Esperanza.

The training sessions will be on 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18 and May 19 from 9:00 to 11:00 and 11:00 to 13:00 hours.

In them, two officers of the Police Traffic Education Local will offer theoretical and practical classes on civic behavior in terms of movement, talking about issues like traffic lights, meaning of basic signs, cycling, or the correct movement of pedestrians, including others.

The aim is that "at early ages are acquired basic knowledge in this field to put into practice now and in the future," said Gonzalez, who added that "we want the Road Safety Centre to meet one of its objectives and be alive and active center of education for children and learn in a dynamic way. "

The council also said it intends to provide special programming for the weekends so that children, with parents, can go to the circuit that exists in the center.
