Successful charity concert of the band of bugles and drums Ecce Homo (20/04/2011)

A standing ovation that went on foot to the performance of the Banda del Ecce Homo was the result of the benefit concert that took place on Easter Monday at the Teatro Vico.

The Brotherhood of the Scroll was responsible for organizing this concert whose proceeds were donated to Caritas Jumilla, according to reports from the group semanasantero.

The event began with the words of the secretary of the guild and maintainer of the act, José Antonio Pagan, who later gave way to the pastor of the Church of San Juan Bautista, José Luis Bledsoe, president of Caritas and Jumilla, Josefa Abellán.

Both thanked, in his words, this benefit concert, and with him all the assistance from the town of Jumilla.

As expected, the Banda del Ecce Homo de Jumilla began his performance with two rallies in ordinary "Popi" and "Fandango", after which conducted the first surprise of the night.

Banda components of Ecce Homo, along with Julian Cantos, Juan Diego Alonso, Alejandro García and María Gil's voice, sang Saeta, a performance that left everyone speechless from the attendees.

"It is evident the originality and the effort of each of the components to hear this Saeta," said Pagan.

Following the program, the Banda del Ecce Homo brothers played marches "Laudet Dominum", "To heaven Rey de Triana", "Christ's Love" and "Mary of the Dew", among others, to end the Marcha Real and the interpretation of "My Way."

Also, another surprise of the evening was a display of percussion by drums and bass of the Banda del Ecce Homo of Jumilla.
