This morning he opened the reform and expansion of the Municipal House of Culture that has been done with funds from Plan E 2010, with an investment of 178,500 euros.

The work consisted mainly in the area where stood the Hall, which has enabled a multipurpose classroom and study and a second room as a classroom free internet access.

The event was attended Councilwoman Joan Guardiola Culture and New Technologies Councilman Jesus Sanchez and other council members of the corporation of the three municipal groups, technicians and officials of the City Council of the work.

Juana Guardiola, Councillor for Culture recalled that "four years ago when I started to take the delegation of Culture a priority that I saw was needed remodeling, if possible, the building as badly needed as it hardly had done remodeling and also some that have taken a very heavy use. After making a memory of needs emerged Plan E, through which could be made this reorganization into two parts, "said the councilman.

With the first Plan E 2009 was invested 218,172 euros and proceeded to replace the floor and first floor, and the lining of the various existing stairs in the building.

Also the toilets were renovated, carpentry, glazing and painting, changing toilets and the removal of moisture in the garden area.

Finally the building was remodeled for a new children's reading room.

In this case, the new investment of state funds from the Plan E 2010, has endowed the building with a renovated area, both functionally and aesthetically, as well as acting in the interior has been performed abroad.

As for the rooms, one of them is multipurpose classroom equipped with a screen with a projector, is functionally linked to the use of Library and prepared for children's workshops, Literature, courses as well as targets for reading and study.

The second room as a classroom free internet access, has a separate entrance.

Inside were also carried out the necessary works to level the floor slab.

For his part, Jesus Sanchez, as the classroom for New Technologies, said that "consists of fifteen-end computers and one for the monitor and all kinds of operation and guarantees that any Jumillano can access this class Free one way. "

From now on, moves the classroom located on Avenida de Levante to this place and become operational once again employing a monitor responsible for this service.
