As of March 21 can submit applications to the food bank municipal (08/03/2011)

The Department of Social Policy reports that it has opened the deadline for submitting applications for the Municipal Food Bank will remain open until Monday 21 March.

The main requirements for access to this program is to be registered in Jumilla least one year, have incomes below 187 euros per month for each household member, in addition to family responsibilities and being unemployed, among others.

The Basics of Municipal Food Bank have been published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM), which states that the object is the call for aid to families to deliver lots of food and commodities when it called "Municipal Food Bank."

These bases are designed to hold, through a regular procedure, under concurrency, delivering lots of food and commodities to families that meet the requirements of these rules and who are in a precarious economy.

To this has enabled an initial starting amount of 30,000 euros.

According to these bases will be recipients of these lots for families who are in a situation of need and demonstrate compliance with the requirements and determined to be beneficiaries of the competent authority resolution.

Among the requirements to be met are: Being registered in Jumilla, at least 1 year before the application, which must justify providing certificate of registration; be all household members unemployed, credited demand card employment, not benefit recipients, or in any case, have only welfare-type benefits less than 25% of SMI, per capita, accredited with certificates issued by SEF or INSS.

Another of the requirements is to have minor dependent children, credited with the family book, or have older children who do not have their own income and financially dependent on the beneficiary and spouse with no dependent children who lack other aid and have over 55 years.

Also must certify that they are recipients of food or by the Red Cross and Caritas, unless there is dire need also advised municipal aid, given that the beneficiaries of these lots of food and may not receive financial support from City Council to buy food in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance for regulating the Grant Aid Urgent Need and finally be current in payment of local tax obligations.

Applications, along with the required documentation will be submitted until 21 March in the General Register of the City of Jumilla, addressed to Hon.

Mayor of Jumilla, for processing and resolution.

According to the rules, the City of Jumilla delivered directly to each household receiving food bank, a maximum of 4 lots of food and commodities, for the duration of this aid, which is six months, maximum 600 euros annually, to be delivered with a minimum of 15 days.

Interested persons may obtain further information at the Center for Social Services or the General Register of the City, where they are and should be submitting applications.
