Gaspar Zarrías Jumilla opens in a new Day Centre for older people and other Road Safety (25/02/2011)

Secretary of State for Planning, Gaspar Zarrías, together with the government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar and the Mayor of Jumilla, Francisco Abellán, inaugurated this morning a new Day Centre and a Centre for Road Safety, two works that substantially improve the infrastructure that the City seeks to serve the residents of Jumilla with investment support from the Government of Spain.

Jumillano innovative facilities where road safety will be formed

A new service for elderly care

The Day Centre is situated at Piedra Alta and respond to the daily care needs of dependent elderly in Jumilla, while relieving their families.

For the execution of these works were contracted to 15 unemployed for 214 days plus another 40 workers have spoken of subcontractors and employees.
