The IES Infanta Elena de Jumilla after starting the school year 2010-2011 with the Cuban storyteller Aldo Mendez (27/10/2010)

The IES Infanta Elena de Jumilla will perform the opening ceremony of the 2010-2011 school year, which this year have invited the Cuban Storyteller Aldo Mendez.

Aldo Mendez holds a BA in philosophy from Lomonosov University.

She works from 1991 to the Socio-Cultural and Cultural Promotion in different areas.

He has taught numerous courses, workshops and seminars related to cultural activities and since 1994 is devoted to storytelling, which is currently developing fundamental activity in different regions of Spain, Latin America (Cuba Venezuela, Costa Rica, Colombia and Mexico), France and North African countries.

Has been a scriptwriter, director and host of radio programs for children and youth.

Work systematically to the Library Network of Communities of Castilla La Mancha, Madrid and Andalusia and presents its performances at festivals throughout Spain Orality.

Offers courses, workshops and seminars for the School of Education in Ciudad Real and assists in Vocational Training Programmes in different centers.

It also collaborates with Teacher Centers Program in Spain.

Has been recognized by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla la Mancha for his outstanding activity in the area of Reading activities in schools in the region.

Participate in the design and programming of Oral Storytelling Festival "words" in the Regional Fair of the Book of Castilla la Mancha.

Narrator several Educational Travel Programs from the Ministry of Education of Castilla La Mancha.

Collaborating Alonso Quijano Writers School and founder of the School Association Orality of the same name.

It also has seven publications, Poetry, Fiction, Stories and workbooks, including a total of three audiovisual.
