The district of San Juan will have a new public lighting which will change the fixtures 727 (18/08/2010)

Like most of the works included in Plan E 2010, have also begun work on the project of modernization of street lighting in the neighborhood of San Juan.

This modernization will be achieved, as reflected in the project, changing the 727 lights that are currently installed and changing the six tables that feed this facility, replacing gear boxes / feed flow stabilizing the new lights that will be 150VSAP.

Also dismantle the lines and other elements that are obsolete.

As stated by Mayor Francisco Abellán "the goal is saving money on electricity bills, thus promoting economic sustainability, increased environmental sustainability by reducing the power consumption and also to comply with the RD 1890/2008 of 14 November, approving the Regulations for energy efficiency in outdoor lighting installations. "

The installation of street lighting basically consists of six points of power supply with a control panel and equipped with protective gear flow-stabilizers, with multiple outputs, and the installation of overhead lines with conductor unipolar flexible copper 1000V 4, 6, 10 and 16mm2 section and lighting equipment and lamps.

For this work, the contractor is Alberto Fraile Nicolau, SL and was awarded an amount of EUR 184,772.74 and EUR 29,563.64 for the tax, plus the improvements offered.
