The project has been prepared by the architect Tomás María José Cerdá and by the same will be reformed to suit your level two new applications, a multiple use and study on certain dates and another which shifts the ALA, free classroom internet access.
With these works is intended to give the building a renovated area, both functionally and aesthetically, so that not only works inside the room with the current use of Hall, but decided to go a step further, trying outwardly access to the building.
Inside what is now the Hall, is carried out the necessary works to level the floor slab, since the change of use so accurate.
As for the rooms, one of them, multipurpose classroom and study, is functionally linked to the use of Library.
The second room as a classroom free internet access, have a separate entrance.
The contractor has been Lotus Somno and the amount of the award of 153,879.31 euros, more than 24,620.69 euros in VAT.
Remember that the Municipal House of Culture and was the subject of an action plan with funding from E 2009.
At that time was spent 218,172 euros and proceeded to replace the floor and first floor, and the lining of the various existing stairs in the building.
Also the toilets were renovated, carpentry, glazing and painting, as well as the elimination of dampness in the garden area.
Finally the building was remodeled for a new children's reading room.
