The Employment and Training Service awarded a grant for vocational guidance for employment (02/08/2010)

Jumilla City Council has received a grant from the Employment and Training Service (SEF) to carry out vocational guidance and self-employment, as confirmed by the council of Industry, Economy and Employment Jesus Sanchez.

Sanchez has stated that "the City Council, in accordance with the powers we have, is intended to provide guidance, training and information on employment and self employment."

For five months, two professionals offer individualized tutoring and activities for self-employment in an office in the Sociocultural Roque Baños.

People interested can go to this center, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 14:40 hours.

In individual tutorials will be devoted over 1,200 hours with the provision of care to 250 users and self-employment activities over 40 hours to respond to about 25 users of this service.

The grant amounts to 42,920 euros, provided 100% by the SEF, while the City provides the facilities for their development.

This assistance is intended to carry out vocational guidance for employment and self-employment assistance to unemployed registered with the Employment Offices in the Region of Murcia.

These actions go to provide information, guidance, support and other processes to facilitate access to the labor market of the applicant and the search for paid employment, as well as boosting self-employment initiatives for job seekers.
