The Councilor for Equality, Salvi Perez, and the agent of Equality, Paqui Ruiz, presented this morning a campaign that is launched on the occasion of Valentine's Day and consists of breaking myths about the concept of romantic love.
It is intended for the young people of the municipality, taking advantage of the different activities that will take place next week in their schools to celebrate Valentine's Day.
"We have grown up with a model of misguided love over generations, with misconceptions that create problems in relationships," said the mayor of the area.
For this reason, a poster has been created that will be placed in a giant version in the two institutes and in the two centers where Secondary is taught, as well as in the Roque Baños Center.
Several phrases appear that break the myths and sound different to how historically they have been heard.
The poster with these messages will also be printed in a small version and distributed in different parts of the city.
Salvi Perez has highlighted that it is not an isolated campaign, as it serves to complement the different workshops and talks that through the Department of Equality are taken to schools for the rest of the year.
