The march of Levante shone again in Jumilla (28/01/2018)

Two years later, Jumilla returned to be the center of the Levante athletic march.

So it was this Saturday thanks to the dispute of the IV Levante Cup of March in Route, where the Region of Murcia was imposed both in the male and female section.

All this, in the framework of our Regional Championship and also the Regional of the Valencian Community of March in Individual Route and by Clubs.

An authentic celebration of the specialty that took place in the City of Wine, throughout the afternoon with departure and finish of the tests in the Poet Walk Lorenzo Guardiola, under the organization of Athletic Club Wines DOP Jumilla, the Federation of Athletics of the Region of Murcia and the Athletics Federation of the Valencian Community in collaboration with the Hon.

City Council of Jumilla and its Department of Sports.

On the male side, he won 2km.

Manuel Bermúdez, from UCAM Athleo Cieza, took the sub-23 win (41:57), his teammate Daniel López (48:28) and m-45 Juan Jesús Barranco CA Murcia Tovarsport (53:52).

Already around the feminine categories, the victory in the 2km.

sub-10 fell to Lara Isabel Salinas, of the Nutribán Sociedad Atlética Alcantarilla (12:26), defeating in the rest of the categories a totality of UCAM Athleo Cieza marchers, with a sub-12 victory for Rocío Moreno (11:13) and in the 3km.

sub-14 for Carmen Bleda (15:52).

Elena García was the best in the 5km.

sub-16 (30:30), as well as Erika Salmerón in the 10km.

sub-18 (1:01:51) and María Alarcón in sub-20 (53:55).

Irene Vázquez achieved the title sub-20 (50:10), doing the same Amanda Cano in senior (45:47) and María Antonia Ramírez in the 5km.

máster-50 (32:01), being the best w-45 Purificación López, of the Nutribán Sociedad Atlética Alcantarilla (36:13).

In relation to the classifications by clubs in each of the categories, the Cehegín Athletics took the male sub-10 title (3 points), doing the same as the Nutribán Sociedad Atlética Alcantarilla in sub-10 women (5 points).

In sub-12 men won the Cehegín Athletics (5 points), while the UCAM Athleo Cieza did it in sub-12 women (3 points) and sub-14 men (5 points), with Cehegín At.

winning in women's sub-14 (6 points).

The male sub-16 title fell to the UCAM Cartagena (7 points), with the women's U-18 victory for UCAM Athleo Cieza (3 points) and the men's U-20 for CA Murcia Tovarsport (3 points).

The UCAM Athleo Cieza was also the winner in the women's sub-23 (3 points).
