Joana Jiménez and Funambulista, strong points of the Vico's programming to start 2018 (16/01/2018)

Joana Jiménez and Funambulista are the highlights of the programming of the first quarter of 2018 at the Vico de Jumilla Theater.

The program was presented this morning by the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martínez, who has described it as "varied, for all ages and taking into account the demands of the public."

Joana Jiménez, together with the Julián Santos Musical Association, presents "Incense and Mantilla", a union of cante, music, dance and images that combine to form a unique show, on dates before Holy Week, on March 10.

On the other hand, Funambulista, the group led by Diego Cantero, will visit Jumilla on February 17 in acoustic concert.

As for theatrical performances, include "Los Caciques" of Alquibla Teatro, which come after the success of its premiere at the Teatro Romea last December.

You can also enjoy "Colón", by Alberto Miralles, a comedy with tints of tragedy about the life of Columbus in which the Asunción Carrión jumillana participates again.

On April 7 is scheduled "The Oxymoron of the Grandmother", with Maite Lorenzo, another actress Jumillana resident in Eibar.

The local theater will also have its place with "The Trees die standing", by Alejandro Casona, hand in hand with the Cultural Association Theater and Culture Las Encebras.

It also highlights the cinema program of this quarter.

It will be screened "Coco", the latest Disney production, and Spanish cinema with "Perfectos desconocidos", the latest film by Álex de la Iglesia, which is still in theaters.

Both films are for this weekend in double pass: Friday and Saturday.

As for the cultural agenda, for the second year, Jumilla will host the Educational Conferences "An education for the 21st century", especially aimed at educational centers.
