The Imago Passionis exhibition closes with more than 6,500 visits (08/01/2018)

The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the president of the Central Board of Brotherhoods of Holy Week, Juan Francisco Martínez, and the head of the exhibition, José Carrión, closed yesterday Imago Passionis, who after three months open to the public has received something more of 6,500 visits.

The exhibition has taught how the passion, death and resurrection of Christ and the liturgy of Holy Week have taken shape over the centuries.

It has shown the magnificent artistic, devotional and cultural heritage treasured by the Holy Week of Jumilla.

In addition to a good number of sizes and images seen from an almost unprecedented perspective, it has been possible to enjoy badges and items such as banners, scripts and flags of the textile heritage of Jumillano, lanterns, chandeliers, jars, trumpets, horns, incense burners, as well as 43 different tunics that dress the 20 brotherhoods and fraternities of Jumilla.
