Local Police and Civil Guard conducted 128 checks with dogs during the past parties (04/09/2017)

The Local Police and the Civil Guard have made a positive balance of their joint performance with dogs during the last Fair and Festivals 2017. They carried out a total of 19 static control devices, in which 128 vehicles were involved, including 6 buses .

The result was the formulation of complaints about the possession of drugs and narcotic substances.

On the other hand, there was an act of presence, also with dogs, in several of the concerts celebrated during the holidays, and also patrols were developed on foot throughout the fair and interior of the municipal swimming pools in order to control possible vandalism.

It highlights a performance in which the Local Police has collaborated with the Civil Guard in the seizure of more than one kilogram of hashish, once the Fair had ended.

In addition, during the Fair and Festivals 2017, an amount of police personnel was established according to the needs, demands and objectives derived from the celebration, guaranteeing the adequate development of all events, concerts, social and recreational activities, parades and horseback riding that made up the program.

They reinforced with police officers and Civil Guard, sanitary, fire-fighting and Civil Protection those events of special relevance and magnitude by the agglomeration of people.

Local Police Councilor Eugenio Aguado expressed his gratitude "to all the professionals who took part in the good development of the parties. We are already working on the security arrangements for the National Encounter of Cofradías to celebrate the days of 21 to the 24 of September ".
