The ordinary plenary of July approves all its points (01/08/2017)

The regular plenary of July held last night approved all of its points.

It was agreed unanimously to declare the exceptionality of the Jumilla Favorite Son's record in favor of the local journalist, José García Martínez.

This is the mandatory preliminary step to begin the necessary procedures to count Jumilla already with three appointments of Favorite Son with life: Miguel Marín Padilla, Juan Carlos Gil and Roque Baños.

For these cases, the Honors and Distinctions Regulations indicate that no other appointments may be granted unless in the opinion of the corporation this is a very exceptional case.

The four motions presented were approved.

It was agreed, at the proposal of the PP, to implement a Comprehensive Plan for the Cleaning of public roads and containing specific measures for cleaning containers and the areas where they are located.

It counted on the positive vote of PP and IU-LV and the opposite of the PSOE.

Likewise, it was approved, at the proposal of the PP, that together with the information of the Boards of Government, the agenda is published, that the treatment of all the information issued by the City Council is truthful, objective and fair with the representativeness of the corporation municipal.

The municipal website will publish the motions and amendments, as well as the result of their voting and the degree of compliance.

PP and IU-LV voted in favor and PSOE against.

Another agreement, in this case unanimously, was to dedicate a place of memory in honor of the thirteen Jumillans deported to Nazi concentration camps, after a motion presented by IU-LV.

Also unanimous was the agreement proposed by IU-LV to include a popular voting platform on the municipal website where citizens can give their opinion on different proposals coming from the municipal corporation.

Likewise, the Municipal Regulatory Ordinance for Electronic Administration was initially approved with the positive vote of the three political groups in order to achieve a more accessible administration.

There was also unanimity to approve the bases of Young Art and the Literary Prize City of Jumilla.

In addition, six cases of extrajudicial credit recognition amounting to € 97,641.82 were approved, with a positive vote by the PSOE, the abstention of the PP and the negative vote of IU-LV, except for the number 24 in which the latter group Abstained.

The July plenary also counted on the accounts of the Mayor's resolutions, delegated and judicial councilors, as well as the budget execution account for the second quarter of 2017, the Treasury report on delinquency and the report of Intervention over average payment period to suppliers, in both cases also in the second quarter of this year.
