The City of Jumilla will hire six people enrolled in the Youth Guarantee System through the Local Employment Program.
The contract will be made through a grant from the SEF granted for two projects, one for the maintenance and repair of public buildings, with an economic endowment of 30,440.69 euros, which will allow the contracting, for a full six-month period, of one Carpenter, two painters and an electrician.
And, on the other hand, another project aimed at Computer Support and Development, which has an endowment of 19,559.31 euros, which will allow the contraction for a period of six months full time of two computer technicians.
"In order to qualify for these jobs, it is essential to be enrolled in the SEF, within the Youth Guarantee program. It is foreseen that the contract will start no later than March 31, 2017 and conclude on September 30 of this same Year ", as reported by the Councilor for Youth Employment, Lucía Jiménez.

On the other hand, and also within the Youth Guarantee Program, a Joint Employment and Training Program (PMEF) will be developed by the City Council of Jumilla, former Schools Workshop and Employment Workshops, which under the name 'Dinamiza Jumilla 'Intends to carry out activities for the promotion of free time for children and young people, with a level of professional qualification 2.
It is destined to 15 students and will have a duration of nine months, (1,440 hours, of which 150 will be theoretical, 140 practical, 190 complementary transversal training in relation to the professional certificate and 960 hours of work).
In this case the total amount of the subsidy for the correct development of this program is 117,871.65 euros, financed by the SEF, where appropriate by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security and co-financed by the European Social Fund and is scheduled to start No later than March 31, 2017.
