Concludes the course of Socio-Health Care for Dependent People in Social Institutions (01/02/2017)

Today, the course on Social Assistance for Dependents in Social Institutions, with a certificate of level 2 professionalism, has been given in Jumilla in order to facilitate the incorporation of the unemployed into the labor market.

This is a free course organized by the Department of Economy and Employment, subsidized by the SEF and co-financed by the European Social Fund for long-term unemployed.

Ten students have participated with a total of 370 hours of theory, beginning on 3 October.

We have dealt with aspects such as support in reception and reception of institutions of dependent people, support in organizing activities for dependent people, intervention in hygiene and food care, social animation, maintenance and improvement of daily activities and communication techniques with dependent people.

The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, and the Councilor for Economy and Employment, Juan Gil have been in charge of delivering the diplomas that accredit the overcoming of the theoretical part.

There are now 80 hours of professional non-work experience, to be held in Aspajunide (Jumilla) and the residences Santa Isabel de Villanueva del Segura, as well as Virgen de la Esperanza and Elders of Yecla.
