The National Padel for people with intellectual disabilities will be held in Jumilla (01/02/2017)

Jumilla will host from February 12 to 16 the dispute of the fourth edition of the Spanish Paddle Championship for people with disabilities.

The event was presented yesterday in Aspajunide with the presence of the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, vice-president of FEDDI, José Moreno, FEDEMIPS president, José Zomeño, and Aspajunide president Carmen Olivares.

More than a hundred players from different parts of Spain will meet in Jumilla, with eight members of Aspajunide Jumilla, an organizing club, scheduled to take part.

The matches will be played on the tracks of Club Olympia Multisport, located in the Los Romerales Industrial Estate.

The teams will arrive in Jumilla on Sunday 12, the training days will be held on days 13, 14 and 15. The Spanish Championship will be played in the morning on Thursday 16, while the trophies will be delivered in the plenary hall Of the City of Jumilla, after a reception by the mayor on the same day at 2.30 pm.

Throughout the week, the participants will perform different activities of coexistence in Jumilla.

The mayor, Juana Guardiola, was pleased to be able to count on Jumilla with this championship and congratulated the members of Aspajunide for their good work and the sporting successes they are achieving in the last years, saying that she will work so that Jumilla can count on the Future with municipal paddle courts.
