Jumilla will host the final of the Regional Championship of Combined Tests for cadet and children categories.
The event is on the athletics track of the Municipal Sports Center La Hoya on 4 and 5 February.
The test has been presented this morning in the Indoor Pool by the Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel García, and the secretary of Athletic Club Vinos de Jumilla, Juan Mateo.
The competition will start on both days at 10:00 am, with the scheduled for Saturday the contest of the children's tests in the female mode.
For Sunday will be the tests of boys in children and both modalities for the cadets.
The 96 athletes classified for the final in the competitions previously held will compete for the medals, with three jumillanos on the track.
20,000 euros in material for the track
Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel Garcia, has been satisfied to get "finally an official track test in Jumilla after the acquisition of the regulatory material. It is another step for the athletics to continue growing in our city."
For his part, Juan Mateo, said that "was a claim we had in the club since this facility was built six years ago."
The City of Jumilla has invested 20,000 euros in material for the athletic track of the Municipal Sports Center La Hoya.
58 competition fences have been acquired, curbs to renew the perimeter of the rope, javelins, hammers and weight of different launching categories, measuring tapes, measuring ladder, anemometers and flags for judges, as well as tarpaulins to protect the Long jump trenches.
