Jumilla Mayor Juana Guardiola and Councilwoman Pilar Martínez met last night at the Roque Baños Cultural Center with representatives of local groups and associations, including neighborhood associations and AMPAS, with the aim of organizing and To coordinate the Carnival 2017 that is celebrated during the last days of the month of February.
A special parade with Carnival was held on Saturday, February 25, which will have a smaller tour at the request of the majority of attendees.
The exit will be made from the Plaza del Rollo to Avenida de Yecla, in the direction of Calle del Calvario, "with what this street will gain in number of attending public and therefore in protagonism, which is what is intended," indicates Pilar Martínez.
"Being a shorter itinerary will be more bearable for nurseries, small children or users of Aspajunide," he adds.
Once again the AAVV Calle del Calvario will be counted on as collaborator in the organization of all the activities.
