Activated Civil Protection Plan against Snow and Cold Waves (17/01/2017)

The Emergency Center of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (CECARM) has issued a statement that activates the Civil Protection Plan against Snow and Cold Waves in the Altiplano before the forecast of snowfall with an accumulation of 4 centimeters .

The alert is yellow and starts at 8:00 am on November 18.

The probability of these precipitations in the form of snow oscillates between 40 and 70%.

The City Council of Jumilla, through the Department of Public Safety, has activated the protocol of action in case of emergencies, through Local Police, Fire, Red Cross, Civil Protection and Civil Guard.

The Department of Services will collaborate through signage, technical and personal means.

Likewise, the parks and gardens of the municipality remain closed since yesterday morning by strong gusts of wind.
