IU-Greens motions on municipal web improvements and measures against bullying (01/12/2016)

In its assessment of the ordinary plenary session in November, the Municipal Group of the United Left-Greens divided the session into two parts.

The first was the economic one, where numerous extrajudicial credit examinations were dealt with, and the second, in which the three motions on the agenda were unanimously approved.

With respect to extrajudicial recognitions, they always argue their negative feedback following the usual line when there are reports of Intervention with repairs.

They explain that these repairs are serious attention calls that indicate that the procedures have been done wrong, in this case they have been tendered without a budget, or invoices have been processed out of time, thus leaving the legal margins established.

From IU-Verdes they want the invoices to be charged for services rendered to the City Council, and indicate that if these procedures were carried out correctly, it would avoid reaching the end of the extrajudicial recognitions and it would save a lot of time, being able to realize the collection much before.

On the approval of their motions, they are satisfied by an agreement that they considered very necessary.

The municipal website will have from now on more information on various matters related to the economic and administrative management of the City Council, improving visibility and transparency.

The incorporation of this information will allow citizens to consult details ranging from declarations of property of councilors, details of contracts of the City Council, supplier relationship and news on all Municipal Groups.

In IU-Greens declare that the municipal web, like the rest of municipal services, are of the City council and of all the citizens, reason why it should not be used to use them as an instrument of the political party that governs in each moment .

The IU-Greens motion against bullying was also approved.

They believe that prevention measures and action protocols should be implemented from the municipalities, which are the closest to the cases.

For this reason, those responsible for the Autonomous Community and the State are urged to allow municipalities to become more involved in the fight against bullying, and to work with the Department of Education in the elaboration of prevention and collaboration plans between Families, teachers and students.

With the support of all parties, they hope that it can serve to create a Local Action Protocol that will allow a series of objectives to be improved and coordinated.

In addition, they make a call of attention to society due to the high figures and percentages that occur in the Region of Murcia.

Finally, in relation to the motion on the location of the containers, they indicate that due to the lack of explanations of the PSOE, it has had to present as a motion what was a repetitive request of the rest of Municipal Groups.

In numerous previous commissions they have requested urban and police reports to know the problems generated by the locations, but they have been ignored by the Government Team.

It seems that finally the councilor delegate showed his intention to give the reports to the rest of Groups, but has not yet done so.

The Plenary ended with the presence of the hunter society by the delay of the licenses to be able to hunt in the mounts of jumilla, putting in danger the forest use of the mountains.

IU-Greens announces that it will not refuse any proposal in this matter, and therefore urges the delegate councilor to discuss the matter briefly.
