The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed the operation 'DIANTI', an investigation began last September in Jumilla in order to locate and arrest the author of two sexual assaults, which culminated in the arrest of a person, resident in the municipality, suspicion of felony sexual assault.
The investigation began late last September, when the Civil Guard became aware of the sexual assault of two women by an individual who, in both cases, approached the entrance to his home, forcing them to enter the elevator where the forced into sex that ultimately failed to consummate by the opposition that the victims offered to him.
These events had triggered social alarm, reaching generate a string of information through social networks that maintained mainly female group of Jumilla, afraid of being attacked with similar characteristics.
The first investigation focused on identifying the suspect through witness statements and images obtained from security cameras of nearby shops, which led to know that the author of both attacks was the same person, a male, young , South American traits, which allowed researchers to narrow your search according to this profile.
The Civil Guard continued the investigation to find out who the aggressor was prowling the homes of his victims before committing sexual assault, which showed a deliberate attitude of their acts, in both cases, he performed with the same method: access, behind women, the portal of the building where it resided, forcing up the elevator and violently assaulting her with fondling.

Meanwhile the investigation progressed, the Civil Guard received a call from one of the victims who happened to recognize him when walking in a downtown street of Jumilla and followed.
This woman was able to alert another neighbor, who allegedly would have been the third victim when he opened the door of his building the suspect.
Corps patrol went immediately to the place while now stopped, surprised by this citizen, fled the scene on foot.
The suspect, who at the time of his arrest was wearing the same clothes as in his two previous criminal, was hit by officers and arrested on suspicion of two crimes of sexual assault.
Operation 'DIANTI' has culminated in the arrest of this suspect who acted under the same pattern.
The victims agreed on their physical characteristics: women in her forties, thin and of medium height to which, as is clear from the investigation, watched and followed until, taking advantage of going alone, the addressed at the entrance of their homes to assault them in the elevator.
The man arrested, 29 of foreign nationality and resident of Jumilla and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 2 of Jumilla (Murcia), whose owner has ordered the imprisonment without bail, the detainee .
