Meeting in Jumilla Coordination Committee Youth Guarantee System (22/06/2016)

Yesterday took place at the Centro Sociocultural Roque Baños de Jumilla the third meeting of the Technical Coordination Board System Youth Guarantee the municipalities of Jumilla and Yecla, attended by the Councillor for Youth Employment of the City of Jumilla, Lucia Jimenez, several municipal technicians, social workers Nazareth Project Caritas, job counselors and promoters of Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the District of Highlands, and the director of the SEF in Jumilla.

He served as secretary of the Bureau, Cristina Palazón, coordinator of Youth Guarantee the SEF of the Ministry of Presidency and Employment.

The objective of this Technical Committee is further progress in cooperation between the various institutions, agencies and professionals gathered for the purpose of uniting, optimize and compile all existing information and local resources targeting youth.

To do this, at this meeting issues like how to make a greater dissemination of the Youth Guarantee in the municipalities of Jumilla and Yecla, the reactivation of the young once had a job or training and different experience actions directed were treated entrepreneurs, among others.

The Youth Guarantee is a European initiative that aims to facilitate the access of young people to the labor market.

In Spain it is part of the Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy approved in February 2013 by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.

The recommendation on youth guarantee states that young people can receive an offer of employment, education or training after completing their studies or become unemployed.

Beneficiaries may be young people who meet the following requirements:

-Have Spanish nationality or be citizens of the European Union.

You can also register foreign holders of an authorization to reside in Spanish territory that enables to work.

-Be Registered in any town in the Spanish territory.

-Have More than 16 years and less than 30 at the time of requesting registration.

-Not having worked in the last 30 days.

-Not have received educational activities (more than 40 hours per month) in the last 90 days.

-Not having received training activities (more than 40 hours per month) in the last 30 days.

-Apply And present have an express interest in participating in the Youth Guarantee System statement.

In short, this is an initiative that aims to help improve the employment situation of young people, and only to register with the Platform will receive personalized information and advice for career guidance from training courses, job offers tailored to your professional profile up placements with the possibility of hiring.
