Received at City Hall French students exchange program IES Infanta Elena (18/03/2016)

First Deputy Mayor of Jumilla, Alfonso Pulido, accompanied by the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Pilar Martinez, received this morning in the hall of more than a hundred students of IES Infanta Elena, among which 51 were French from Cossé-le-Vivien.

Several French students have had experience in Jumilla, showing the Spanish learned during this week of stay in the town.

He has also starred French teacher responsible for the exchange, Julie Bruand, who expressed his gratitude for the reception.

Finally it has been made a gift exchange, where students of Collège L'Oriette have been a bag with tourist brochures of the town and Professor reproduction Jumilla Castle.

Alfonso Pulido has stressed the importance of such exchanges "to learn languages ​​and to learn the traditions of other areas, highlighting the interesting who visited Jumilla right in the days before Easter".

Students have attended classes at the IES Infanta Elena, discovering the Spanish educational system and participating in a series of visits and activities in Jumilla.

Meanwhile, the Spanish students will visit France from 23 April to 1 May.

Like French students in Spain, take the opportunity to discover the region and attend classes at the Collège L'Oriette of Cossé-le-Vivien.

From the IES Infanta Elena they have stated that "it is an unforgettable experience for our students, as many of them traveling abroad for the first time and also discover the way of life of other families in another country."
