| The accesses of the Marín Padilla Day Center and the Tourism Office will be adapted, as well as the sidewalks of nine corners of Yecla avenue and the exit of the Bus Station by avenue of freedom | The Jumilla City Council has awarded the company Riegos Ago the works of the Accessibility Plan 2021 for an amount of 29,536.10 euros.
In this new phase of the plan, the accesses of the Marín Padilla Day Center, the Tourist Office, as well as the sidewalks of nine corners of Avenida de Yecla and the exit of the Bus Station via Avenida de la Libertad will be adapted.
In 2015, the City Council launched the Accessibility Plan with the aim of advancing in the elimination of architectural barriers and since then about 250,000 euros have been invested for this purpose, through more than 200 actions on sidewalks, overpasses, adaptation of toilets and gardens, as well as adaptation of public buildings and installation of cranes for people with reduced mobility.
For this, a commission was created in which the Amfiju and Aspaj americano associations participate, which contribute different proposals based on their experience.
