The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola Verdú, the deputy chief inspector of the Local Police Jumilla, Salvador Gómez, and the agent, Pascual David Muñoz, today collected in Madrid the National Prize for Good Practices for the 'See, hear, feel' campaigns and 'You decide', granted by the National Association of Guardians, the FEMP and the Ministry of Health.
The awards have been presented by María Azucena Martí, government delegate for the National Drug Plan and Carlos Daniel Casares, general secretary of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
The 'See, hear, feel' road education campaign has received the award in the excellence category.
All the Infant and Primary school students of the municipality participated in the same during the past year in order to learn in a practical and simple way to move safely in their surroundings, either on foot, by bicycle or by car.
In addition, a video clip with a rap composed of rapper Jumillano, Sergio Guardiola 'War-D' was created.
Likewise, this campaign was this finalist year of the Ponle Freno Awards granted by Antena 3.
On the other hand, the 'You decide' campaign has been recognized with the prize in the innovation category.
This is an emotional workshop where strategies to combat and recognize a bullying that Pascual agent David Muñoz himself approached the educational centers were facilitated.
