With the signing of the minutes carried out yesterday in Montealegre and today in Jumilla part of the work done by the National Geographic Institute for the recovery and improvement of the boundary lines that affect this municipality with those of Castilla La Mancha, without that this involves altering them from the legal point of view.
The result is much more precise than the existing one to date, which dates back to the end of the 19th century, when it is now carried out with current technologies.
These works are being verified by demarcation commissions of the affected municipalities.
That of Jumilla is made up of the mayor, Juana Guardiola, and councilors Francisco González, Juan Gil and Juan Antonio Jiménez, in addition to the expert Pascual Cahigüela and the secretary of the corporation, Josefa Torres.
Today, the acts that affect Jumilla with Fuente Álamo, Ontur and Albatana have been signed at the Town Hall and yesterday the same was done in Montealegre with those that affect this municipality with Jumilla and Yecla.
