The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia and the Local Police of Jumilla have developed a joint investigation aimed at identifying, locating and arresting the author of numerous robberies inside vehicles, which has resulted in the arrest in fraganti of a person to which is attributed to the alleged authorship of at least a dozen crimes of theft with force on things.
The investigation began last October, when the Civil Guard was aware of a series of robberies inside vehicles, which occurred in the periphery of the municipality of Jumilla.
These events had generated some social alarm among the residents of the town.
The researchers, after practicing the corresponding technical eye inspections in the damaged vehicles, determined that there was a common pattern both in the modus operandi used to violate the cars, through the fracture of the moons or crystals, and in the type of stolen objects, generally belonging casually left by their owners inside, such as sunglasses, wallets and mobile phone chargers, as well as sound equipment or tools, effects of easy transport and quick sale on the black market.
Once the profile of the suspect was prepared, the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Jumilla initiated a series of joint devices aimed at monitoring and preventing theft in the affected areas, as well as the location and detention of the suspect.
In the early hours of Wednesday, November 27, within the framework of these joint devices, a Local Police patrol detected the presence of a suspicious individual who was identified, carrying among his belongings a radio-cd.
The agents verified that, apparently, the object had just been removed from inside a tourism, so that a 28-year-old male of Moroccan nationality and neighbor of Jumilla was recovered and made available to the judicial authority and its owner He was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of robbery with force on things.
After analyzing the information obtained during the stage of investigation of the proceedings, the investigators have linked the now detained with the alleged authorship of at least a dozen robberies with force inside vehicles.
The arrested, the effects recovered and the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 1 of Jumilla (Murcia).
