The City of Jumilla is the second best positioned in the Region of Murcia according to its liquidity situation, after the report made by the portal www.elsectorpúblico.es in which the consistories of more than 5,000 inhabitants of the entire national territory have been studied .

According to the Councilor for Finance, Alfonso Pulido, "this situation is attributed to the containment of current expenses with respect to the total and the reduction of debt, which in the case of our municipality does not exist."

The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, recalled that "the City of Jumilla closed the year 2018 with all loans with financial institutions canceled, or what is the same zero debt, after paying off loans of more than 3,300,000 euros I had, which shows the good economic management that has been done, "he added.
