The City of Jumilla informs that the deadline is open to proceed with the application of the use of pastures, esparto and aromatic plants in the mountains of municipal property.
Those interested must submit their application in the General Registry presenting documentation proving their identity and in the specific case of pastures, in addition, the current livestock card or log book of livestock exploitation.
The period of harvesting of esparto and grasses begins on October 1 and ends on March 31, 2020. In the case of rosemary there are two periods: from October 1 to December 31, 2019 and from March 1 to 31 May 2020. The use of thyme must be done in May 2020.
The annual fee per season for rosemary and thyme is 48.91 and 28.47 euros per season respectively.
In the case of esparto and pastures it is according to mount, number of units and surface of exploitation.
