The first plenary session of the 2019-23 legislature approves the internal organization of the corporation (02/07/2019)

Yesterday was held in extraordinary session the first plenary session of the 2019-2023 legislature in which the internal organization of the corporation was approved.

The plenary session of the plenary sessions was unanimously agreed upon, and the last Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. was the date marked for each one of them.

In the event that it is a holiday, it will advance to the previous Monday.

It was also unanimous approval of the number and name of the information committees, establishing a total of four and the presence of 11 councilors in each of them, being six of the PSOE, four of the PP and one of the mixed group, acting as president the mayor, Juana Guardiola

The informative commissions will be:

-Social Policy, Public Health, Equality, Education, Cooperation, Youth, Districts and Citizen Participation.

-Internal Regime, Personnel, Technologies, Treasury and Special accounts.

-Culture, Tourism, Sports, Celebrations, Citizen Participation and Communication.

-Works, Urbanism, Public Services, Environment, Activities, Agriculture, Forestry and Local Development.

The votes of the members of the corporation were approved, although with the opposite vote of PP and the mixed group, after the modification of the base 48 of the execution of the Budget, as well as the members with full and partial dedication.

Thus, the mayor will have a gross salary of 50,106 euros per year distributed in 12 payments, while full-time councilors will receive 31,184 euros, also gross, for the case of those who are full-time and their part for the part-time .

For the rest of councilors compensation will be paid for assistance, being 268 euros for the Plenary, 185 euros for Government Board and 27 euros for informative commission.

Parental mayors will have a monthly allowance of 240 euros.

The councilors with exclusive dedication, in addition to the mayor of Jumilla, will be Francisco González González, Isabel Mª López Abellán and José Antonio Jiménez Hammond.

Mª Pilar Martínez Monreal and María Dolores Gómez María will dedicate 50%, while María Belén López Lozano and Mª Isabel Quílez Pérez 40%.

Unanimously, the number, characteristics and remunerations of the eventual staff were also approved.

A person attached to City Hall is hired full time with a gross salary per year of 25,591.50 euros and a journalist with a gross salary of 35,731.50 euros per year.

The municipal groups will have three administrative staff, one per group, with a gross remuneration of 23,489.86 euros each.

The Plenary was closed with the designation of the representatives of the corporation in the collegiate bodies, which was approved unanimously.

In the board of directors of Aguas de Jumilla will act as president the mayor, Juana Guardiola, and there will also be a representative of each of the three municipal groups.

In the mixed commission for the Exploitation of Sanitation and Purification Facilities will be Francisco González González and Juan Gil Mira.

Juana Guardiola Verdú and José Antonio Jiménez Hammond have been appointed for the Fire Extinction Consortium.

Juana Guardiola Verdú and María Isabel Quílez Pérez will be part of the Commonwealth of Tourist Services of the Northeast.

And in the Consortium for the Management of Solid Waste have been appointed Francisco González González and Juan Gil Mira.
