The campaign 'See, hear, feel' ends with the participation of more than 2,500 people (25/06/2019)

All the students of Infant and Primary of the municipality, as well as users of different associations have gone through the renewed Center of Road Safety where they have learned in a practical, simple and fun way to move safely in the environment that surrounds them

This morning has finished in the Road Safety Center the campaign 'See, hear, feel', in which more than 2,500 people have taken part, between the students of Infant and Primary of all the educational centers of the municipality, as well as the users of the MasVida Residence Hall and of the associations outside the town of Asteamur and Astrade.

Today the closing ceremony was held with the presence of the Mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the Councilor for Public Safety, José Antonio Jiménez, and the Chief Local Police Officer, Antonio Luis Mula.

As guests, users of the association Astrade, Molina de Segura.

"I want to thank the great implication of all those who have made it possible to carry out this campaign, led by our special agent, Pascual David Muñoz," said the mayor.

The aim of the same has been that the little ones learn in a practical, simple and fun way to move safely in the environment that surrounds them, either on foot, by bicycle or by car.

Also, that they know the traffic signals that they see daily in their transfers.

The Road Education Park, where both the theoretical part and the practice of the campaign have been carried out, is one of the most complete centers in the Region of Murcia and, in addition, was renovated and improved prior to the start of this campaign, which has had a thousand more participants than in 2017.

A rap, national news

The jumillano Sergio Guardiola 'War-D' created a rap that has been the image of the campaign of this course, which has been news in regional and national media.

The graffiti artist Juan Carlos Lozano 'Wayo Wayo' elaborated two murals located at the entrance of the center and several traffic signs, as part of the improvements made.

In addition, the Road Safety Center has opened to the public during weekends and holidays, increasing by 300% the number of visitors who have enjoyed the facilities compared to the previous year.
