400 students of the Popular University have received this afternoon the diplomas that certify the overcoming of the training done during this 2018-19 course.
Of the 27 groups of students that were trained, 10 have been to take the Cutting and Dressmaking course, which once again has been the most numerous.
Primores, as well as Drawing and Painting have had three groups each, while the Restoration and Craft courses have formed two groups each.
In addition, courses of Photography, Tourist Guide, Heritage, Bolillos, Ceramics and Goma Eva have been made.
In total, they have been taught by a dozen professors.
The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, has inaugurated the exhibition with the work done during the course, which can be visited until Thursday 27 in the Archeology section of the Jerónimo Molina Museum and hermitage of San José cultural space.
Building accessibility improvements
For the next course it is foreseen that accessibility improvements will be made to the building of the Popular University, with the installation of an elevator, as approved in the Participatory Budgeting process 2019. During the past year, in addition, the machines were renovated of sewing of the courses of Cutting and Making.
