The Councilor for Celebrations, Pilar Martínez, presented this morning the activities of Carnival 2019, accompanied by representatives of the AAVV Calle del Calvario and the Rural Women's Association of Fuente del Pino.
The program begins this Friday with the performance at the Vico Theater of the Chirigota Rural Women of the Fuente del Pino.
It will be from 20 hours with tickets to 3 and 2 euros, on sale from this afternoon.
Saturday will be the big day of Carnival with a parade in which some twenty groups will take part starting from Calle Cánovas (corner Verónica) at 17.30.
The tour will be made as last year by Canónigo Lozano to the tent on Calvario street where the costumes prizes will be awarded by the neighborhood association.
As of 11.00 pm, the Festshop will start at the Food Market with animation, performances and shows until 5.30.
A photo booth will allow you to take the printed pictures of the costumes at that moment.
From Sunday, the smallest ones gain protagonism through the parade of the 'Tío del Higuico', in Calvario street at 17.30 and the parade of schools by Cánovas street on Monday from 11.30.
On Tuesday, the appointment is again on Calvario street with the children's performance of Pepi Calzaslargas from 17.00.
