The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, has maintained throughout this term several contacts and meetings with officials of the Caja Mediterráneo Foundation with the aim of enabling the reopening by the City Council of the cultural classroom that the foundation has in Jumilla and that leads closed several years.

It is a cultural space with an assembly hall, exhibition hall and library, a reference for the social and cultural environment of Jumillano.

The negotiations carried out between the two entities are close to completion and, as indicated, there is confidence that the recovery of this space for the use of the municipality will soon be a reality.
