During this week the Federation of Associations of Mothers and Parents of Students of Jumilla (FAMPA) has been taking to the different schools of the municipality the different batches of books that have been acquired through the agreement of 40,000 euros signed with the City of Jumilla For this end.
The different libraries of the Infant, Primary and Secondary schools have been equipped with the latest reading novelties and, at the same time, textbooks have been purchased for levels not yet covered by the CARM free-of-charge law.
"The objective of this agreement is to make easier the access to the reading of the students of the educational centers of the municipality and to foment the same between City council, FAMPA and directive groups of the different schools", has indicated the councilor of Educational Centers, Pilar Martínez , to which he added that in the future it is intended that books are also acquired in other languages.
