This morning the official poster of the Harvest Festival 2019 was presented in Jumilla, a week after it was presented at Fitur.
The event was attended by the mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the president of the Federation of Peñas de la Fiesta de la Vendimia, Guillermo Gonzalez, the poster designer, Luis Ruiz, and the Vendimiadores Mayores, Isabel Gilar and Juan José Pérez.
It is a work that "wants to express the moment in which the harvest begins, the fundamental basis of the festivities", as explained by Luis Ruiz.
"It's about getting it in a nice way, with some element with a festive character easily recognizable, as in this case are the balloons, which in turn form a cluster of grapes."
Juana Guardiola has pointed out that "it is a good idea to present the poster with the beginning of the year" and has described the Harvest Festival as "some parties, that if they did not exist, we would have to invent them".
For his part, Guillermo González stressed that "the idea is that the poster can be present in all activities that take place during the year prior to the parties themselves."
