The Governing Board held this morning has approved the project for the start-up of a Youth Center that will be located on the ground floor of the Market of Supplies with entrance through the parking area, on Avenida de Reyes Católicos.
A little more than 300 square meters will be adapted to the leisure needs of the adolescents of the municipality, with multipurpose room, lobby and four warehouses.
The electrical installation will be replaced and the spaces will be heated.
Likewise, all rooms will be accessible to people with mobility problems.
The work also includes soundproofing and new blinds, as well as furniture.
The project has been carried out by the architect Gumersindo Esteve with a budget of 91,694 euros and a forecast of duration of the works of 3 months.
This is one of the proposals approved through the Leader Funds and demanded in the Participatory Budgeting process 2018.
The councilman of Markets, Juan Gil, has indicated that "it is a project that comes from the beginning of the legislature and that pretends that the young people of age of the municipality have a place of permanent leisure for all the weekends and stages of school vacations ".
