The comedy 'El Funeral', by Concha Velasco and Jordi Rebellón, is one of the most outstanding performances of the first quarter of 2019 program at the Vico Theater, presented this morning by the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martínez.
It will be performed on Sunday March 3 with tickets for sale from 6 to 15 euros.
It also highlights the revival of 'Farruca', by the Jumillano composer Julián Santos, and with the Sevillian singer, Joana Jiménez, playing the role of Blanca Rosa.
There will be sessions on 7, 8 and 9 February with tickets between 12 and 20 euros, already on sale.
On March 24 you can enjoy the comedy 'Volvió una noche', with Beatriz Carvajal and Carlos Santos, while the duo Oché Cortés and Tony Beteta will close the semester on April 27 with 'Las canciones de nuestra vida'.
The first months of the year in the Vico also include a cycle of chamber music, a night of copla with Manuel Lombo, performances for children, Holy Week, as well as the concert 'Mar Adentro' by the local singer, Andrés Martínez.
In the different cultural spaces outside the Vico Theater, the Department has scheduled a varied calendar of activities through exhibitions, talks, courses and workshops for adults and children, book presentations, as well as a new film cycle in the Auditorium.
The agenda also includes for the third year the different activities of the 'An Education for the 21st Century' Conference, from January 23 to March 15, aimed mostly at students of different ages and with climate change and sustainable development as one of the key issues to be addressed.
