The Councilor for Youth, Juan Manuel Garcia, and the Director General of Youth, Francisco Javier Sanchez, have presented today in Murcia Murcia Bajo Cero Program, aimed at young people between 14 and 36 years.
It is a program that has been launched by the General Directorate of Youth of the Region of Murcia and through it are offered ski activities in the winter months.
The sports that can be practiced are downhill skiing and snowboarding.
Scheduled activities include transportation, introductory or advanced classes, equipment rental, insurance and, where appropriate, accommodation.
The offer includes weekend stays and one-day trips in the Sierra Nevada and a five-day stay in the Pyrenees.
One day trips cost 61 euros, two days 124 euros, those of three 169 euros, all to Sierra Nevada, while the five days to the Pyrenees costs 279 euros.
Departures from Jumilla to Sierra Nevada are scheduled for Saturday, January 19 and Saturday, March 2, in both cases from the Municipal Pool Covered at 2.30 am.
Reservations are made on the website www.mundojoven.org and more information can be obtained from the Youth Department of the City of Jumilla, in Plaza del Rey Don Pedro.
