The City of Jumilla will grant 20,000 euros in grants for international cooperation to distribute provisionally among six organizations, once the process of competitive competition has ended.
As in 2017, two different subsidy lines were established.
One for local projects and with which it is intended to carry out awareness and education actions in the municipality of Jumilla in order to create a solidarity conscience and generate personal and social changes that enable fair international relations. In this sense, 1,635 euros awarded to the NGO Sonrisa Saharahui for its 'Vacaciones en Paz' project.
There was a second line for international projects whose objective is to satisfy the basic needs of collectives or disadvantaged areas of less developed countries, as well as to carry out emergency actions in cases of disasters that cause humanitarian crises.
4,725 euros have been granted to the Red Cross for the implementation and organization of a child care center.
A Acción sin Fronteras, 4,150 euros to improve nutritional conditions and transport and transport in special education centers in Tindouf (Algeria);
Delwende approved 3,650 euros for the maintenance of Atakpamé's social-medical center (Togo);
a Medical Solidarity Association, 3,500 euros for health promotion through coverage of the water purification program and 2,340 euros for Paz y Bien and the disease prevention project in Bolivia.
