The Agricultural Fair of Jumilla 2018, organized by the Department of Agriculture, has increased the number of visitors with respect to last year's edition, as assured by the Councilor for Agriculture, Juan Gil: "Last year, the balance was made on the part of the organization, together with the exhibiting companies themselves, set the attendance around 8,000 people, while this year the goal was to try to exceed 10,000 attendees, something that has been achieved. "
The weather has been excellent, which has led to a high attendance of people, which in turn has contributed to increase business volume, so that the level of satisfaction expressed by the exhibitors has been very high.
Sales at the fair itself have been numerous and, likewise, "the number of contacts has also been significant, which encourages us to continue to reap the benefits of this fair during the coming months," says Juan Gil.
Once contacted with the managers of the participating companies, the great majority have indicated their intention to continue in a next edition, which also shows the satisfaction generated.
Looking ahead to the 2019 edition, the councilor of the area has announced that "the possibility of enhancing the investment will have to be studied, as well as promoting the Tractor and Trailer Skill Competition".
Juan Gil has also expressed his satisfaction for "the absolute success of the parallel activities, both of the skill contest itself, for his participation, and the presentation of the book by Cayetano Herrero on the reservoirs of the esparto courses for the discovery of a heritage unknown that caused ".
